Bedtime Body Butter
Use castor oil for skin before bed to keep skin hydrated while you sleep. In a glass double boiler, melt together a ¼ cup of Viva Naturals Castor Oil, 2 tbsp of Viva Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil, 1 oz. of grated beeswax and 2 tsp of Viva Naturals Shea Butter. Remove from heat, stir in a couple drops of calming lavender essential oil and cool to room temperature. For a creamier consistency, beat for a minute with a hand mixer.
Natural Oil Cleanser
Our castor oil can be mixed with other gentle carrier oils to make a soothing, effective oil cleanser. Mix one part Viva Naturals Castor Oil and one part olive oil, then slowly work a small portion of the oil into your skin for about a minute. Slowly add water to the oil cleanser to loosen dirt, makeup and oil from skin. Follow with a mild cleanser.
Hair Rejuvenator
The castor oil benefits for hair are amazing. For a nourishing, at-home hair mask, apply a few drops to your scalp and split ends. As a DIY conditioner, mix 2 tsp of Viva Naturals Castor Oil with an egg white and a tsp of Viva Naturals Glycerin, and massage into wet hair. Wait a few minutes, then rinse with warm water.
Beautify Brows & Lashes
You’ve probably heard about castor oil and eyelashes. You can give them new life by dabbing them with a drop of castor oil each morning and evening. For lashes, apply from the base to the tips, making sure every strand is saturated (avoid eye contact to prevent irritation).
